Mentoring

Book coaching is for writers who need more than a single editorial intervention — a sustained working relationship that evolves alongside the project itself.

Every author is different, and every project is different, so there's no fixed template for how it works. In the early stages of a manuscript, it tends to be exploratory — keeping the ideas moving, saying yes to possibilities, building momentum. As the work develops, it becomes more goal-oriented: structural decisions, draft feedback, planning what comes next.

Coaching is charged at an hourly rate, with time allocated to reading, notes, meeting preparation and the sessions themselves. Sessions are conducted by video call. If you're interested, the best place to start is a short discovery call to talk through where you are and what you're trying to achieve.

This isn't a service for anyone looking to have the work done for them. It's a space for writers who want to do the work better, with someone in their corner who knows the territory.
